Patricia Grays

Patricia Ann Grays, born on January 16, 1964, in Neptune, New Jersey, passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 60. A lifelong nurturer, dreamer, and giver, Patricia touched countless lives with her radiant smile, quick sense of humor, and generous spirit.

Raised in Asbury Park, NJ, Patricia moved to New Brunswick as a young child and graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1982. She pursued her passion for caregiving by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and later found her culinary calling, starting a catering business in Somerset, NJ, in 2008. Patricia delighted in cooking, entertaining, and bringing people together through her food and vibrant personality.

Coming from a large family including 18 sisters and two brothers on her father’s side, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Fannie Elizabeth Wilmore and Paul Hill, her siblings, “Peanut” Grays and Tammie Grays, and several family members who she held dear.

Patricia was a devoted mother to her children, Natasha S. Grays, Antwon D. Grays, and Charles D. Jackson,nieces NyAshia Greene and Akiera Hill. She adored her grandchildren, Antwon Grays Jr., Tara S. Douglas, and Demi R. Hobson, and cherished every moment spent cooking, reading, gardening, coloring, or watching movies with them.

A pillar of her community, Patricia was known for always feeding others, sharing what she could, and uplifting those around her. She was the life of the party, loved to dance, and made a lasting impression wherever she went. Her fiery spirit, compassion, and love for life will never be forgotten.

Funeral services will be held at 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia’s incredible life and legacy.

Patricia Ann Grays will be greatly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
