On Sunday November 26, 2017, Mary Jane McArthur, age 82 of Stockbridge, GA passed away. She was the beloved wife for over 62 years to the late William “Mac” McArthur. Loving mother of William D. McArthur (Kellie), Melinda S. Davies and Valerie Shelton (David). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren, loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. McArthur retired from Hurd-Prince & Association and was a proud co-owner of Skateland roller skating rink of Stockbridge, GA.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 5-7 p.m., Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Chapel, Stockbridge, GA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 245 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
