He is also survived by sisters; Daisy Brown, Ruby Gann, grandson, Ken Weir, granddaughter, Kelley Campbell (Ian), great-granddaughter, Eleanor Campbell, numerous nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

He retired from Delta Airlines after serving over 30 years in maintenance management. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and spending quality time with his family.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA, 30281. A graveside service will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge, GA.
