Gary was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing and spending time with family.
He is survived by his companion Judy Vaughn, and his children Gary & Yvonne Evans of Monroe, Georgia, Dedra Thomas of Monroe, Georgia, Philip & Melissa Beauchamp of McDonough, Georgia, and Melanie Harris & Shane of Conyers, Georgia. He has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Evans was a retired master electrician. He owned many businesses, Evans Electric & Construction Co. and Starfleet Electric Co.
A visitation for Gary will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, followed by Celebration of Life on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM at 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
