Christopher Michael Carter, Jr. was born on June 16, 1988 in East Point, Georgia to Christopher and Doria Carter.
CJ, as he was affectionately called by his family or Chris to his friends, was a lover of all, no questions asked. CJ was a “fixer of all.” He always saw the good in others and always wanted them to be happy. He never wanted anyone to be upset, especially is momma. He made sure to look out for his friends and family. His love for his parents, siblings, nieces, nephew and friends ran deep in his veins, and his actions showed as much as his words. One of CJ’s most loved talents and hobbies was grilling. He was so meticulous with the process. Although it may have taken time, when he was done, it would be the best meal you have ever had. He got his love of culinary cuisines from his mother.
Uncle Bubba, as his nieces and nephew called him, was a jokester and loved to laugh. He absolutely enjoyed life. One of his most favored things was to make things explode. He could not get enough of it. He and his dad loved their family and friends 4th of July fireworks show. They would plan for months on how big they could make the current year better than the last.
He was preceded in death by his best friend/brother of over 15 years, Randy in April 2022 and his fur baby, Maverick.
He will be remembered for all the good that he did for so many people. Chris’ life will forever be honored and cherished by his parents, Christopher Carter, Sr. and Doria Carter; sisters, Carmen Carter and Camillia Ledbetter (Zach); brother, Clayton Carter (Island); nieces, Aria, Aba, Anavi and Madison; nephew, Cayson; a host of other relatives and loving family friends.
CJ was an exceptional human being. May his mind, body and soul rest in eternal peace.
