Roy Barnes Sr.

Roy Jack Barnes Sr., age 77, passed away on Sunday June 19, 2022 at his home in Humboldt, TN. He was born in Elizabethton, TN on October 15, 1944. After high school he moved to Chicago, Il and began his career in the commercial bakeware industry. As luck would have it that industry called him back to TN which he moved back to in 2000. He spent over 50 years in various roles in this industry. He is survived by three daughters, Mary Smith of Schaumburg, IL, Joan Herzfeldt (Tom) of Davenport, IA and Jennifer Heiser (Bryan) of Scottsdale, AZ; a son, Roy Barnes Jr. (Donna) of Schaumburg, IL; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will take place at Mount Auburn Funeral Home & Cemetery in Stickney, Il on Friday July 15, 2022.
