Originally from Chicago, Illinois, John was born on June 26th, 1962 to his parents Jose Almanza Ramirez and RosaMaria Almanza Espinosa. His parents precede him in death as does his brother, Jose Jr.
John proudly served in the Military as a US Army Sergeant. He served the 562nd and 23rd Engineer Company from 1985 to 1991 in Fort Richardson, Alaska.
John is survived by his children; Juan Jose, Russell, Elizabeth, Noemi, Daniel, Aaron, and Monze "Lil Bit" and his siblings; Guillermo, Frank, Rosemary, Arthur, George, and Susan, as well as many other friends and family members. He will be deeply missed.
A gathering for family and friends to remember John and celebrate his life will be held Friday, December 20th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral mass will take place the next day, Saturday, December 21st, at 10:00 AM St Leonard's Catholic Church, 3318 Clarence Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402. Services will conclude at Mount Auburn Funeral Home where Military Honors will be rendered at 11:30 AM."
