Irene Krysiak, age 94, of Stickney, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Irene was born March 29, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Bronislawa “Bernice” and Teodor Bloch. On September 11, 1948 she was married to the love of her life, Stanley Krysiak.
Irene enjoyed family gatherings, card and word games and was very active with the Saint Pius Choir. A great cook, her barbecued ribs and crullers were always family favorites. She retired in 1985 from Mobil Oil as an Inventory Analyst and was a meticulous organizer and record keeper. She was an active member of her condominium board for many years. Visits to her two sons and families in California were always special.
Devoted and loving Mother of Robert (Amanda), Thomas (Donna) and James (Anne).
Cherished Grandmother of Kevin (Erika) and Robyn, Braden (Samantha) and Matthew (Megan) Quick; Great-grandmother of Tori Quick, Alexis Quick, Evangeline Krysiak, Mason Krysiak, Autumn Quick.
Beloved Sister of Bernice Gorski (Casey).
Irene is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Linda (Borowiak), Patricia (Garrett), Carolyn (Collins), Donna (Blazina), Ted (Glen) Bloch, Casey and Robbie (Gorski).
Preceded in death by her loving husband Stanley; Brothers Walter Bloch (Mimi), Edward Bloch (Lottie), Matthew Bloch (Kay), Frank Bloch (Eleanor), Theodore Bloch, and Richard Bloch; Sister Helen Chmielewski (Tony).

A visitation for Irene will be held on Tuesday July 21st, 2020 from 9am-12pm at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 S. Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. Followed by a chapel service at Mount Auburn at 12pm. Interment will be a Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
