Aurora R. Lopez, age 94, of Hodgkins, Illinois passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Aurora was born February 28, 1930 in Monterrey, Mexico to her parents Aurora Jasso Mireles and Fernando Felipe Revilla Galina. Aurora was the loving wife of Ralph Lopez, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Super-Abuelita). Aurora was also a beloved nanny to many.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Aurora that is being held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 where family and friends can gather at 9:00 am, followed by a chapel service at 11:00 am at Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
