He was born on August 14, 1937 in Iredell County.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Waugh Fink and a son, Jeffrey Allen Fink.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Michelle Fink Dalton (Paul); grandson, Christopher Lambert (Madison) and two granddaughters, Heather Lambert (Eric) and Stephanie Lambert. He also leaves behind one great-grandson, Jeffrey Nathan Lambert; one brother, Mebane “Red” Fink; four sisters, Betty Williams, Bonnie Hager, Janie Johnson and Tincey Morrow; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob grew up in Statesville where he worked at Southern Screw for around 40 years before retiring. He was a hardworking man who devoted his life to his beautiful wife, and to his children, grandchildren and great-grandson. Those who knew him knew that he would do anything to help someone in need. He was an amazing man and will be greatly missed by so many. He was of the Baptist faith.
The family will receive friends at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday evening, February 18, 2016.
The funeral service honoring Bob’s life will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jessie Stroud and Rev. Bill Pharr officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church cemetery.
