He was born November 16, 1943, in Iredell County and was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Texie Pearson Poole. He retired from JCPenney Warehouse and was a member of Troutman Baptist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Judy Hager; a brother, Everette Poole both of Statesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Troutman Baptist Church with the Rev. J.B. Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM tonight (Wednesday) at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
