Born in Rowan County on December 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice Graham. She worked in the textile industry for many years.
Julie was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Fred Franklin Mason; son, Timothy Alan Gillespie (Tammie) of Statesville; two daughters, Lisa Marie Eagle (David) of Salisbury and Kimberly Mason Stricklin (Chris) of Statesville; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Gillespie, Luke Southard, Teddy Charles, Robert Eagle, Scarlett Eagle, Kayla Stricklin, Christopher Stricklin and Colton Stricklin and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 4, at 3:00pm at Rocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
