She was born December 8, 1935, in Troutman and was the daughter of the late Glenn and Mildred Carrigan Williamson. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Troutman and worked with Bylo Furniture and Troutman Industries. She was an avid Elvis fan, collected recipe books and miniature shoes and enjoyed traveling to the mountains and the beach with her family.
She is survived by husband, Gerald E. Sigmon, whom she married on December 17, 1960; two daughters, Tammy (Alan) Sipes and Kristi Gentle, all of Troutman; four grandchildren, Hillary (Chris) Galliher of Statesville, Cody Sipes, Brandon Gentle and Heather Gentle, all of Troutman; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Billy (Geraldine) Williamson of Troutman.
Graveside service celebrating Jerrylene’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Iredell Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Dieter W. Punt officiating.
The family will speak with friends following the service on Wednesday at the cemetery.
