Gregory "Greg" Alan Thomas

He was born June 19, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, and was the son of the late Shirley Liebler. He worked in the construction business and also enjoyed his work with Lowe’s Professional Services Group. He attended Northview Church of Christ. He also enjoyed camping and using his hands by building, working outside, and gardening. He was a loving husband and was a solid, grateful, kind and gentle person.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Gilin Thomas, whom he married on March 17, 1989; her daughters, Karen (Brent) and his granddog, Venus, and Laura (Brad) and their two daughters, Lyra and Kate; his siblings, Sharon, Paul, Mike, Ronnie and Vern; and his beloved cats, Samantha and Shadow. He is preceded in death by his beloved cats, Susie and Sophie.

Funeral service celebrating Greg’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Northview Church of Christ with Les Bonnett and Paul McClanahan officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
