Benjamin Zachary Padgett, 22, of Statesville, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Iredell County on August 26, 1993, he was the son of Jimmy Flake Padgett and Angela Goodwin Padgett, who survive.
Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Eva Dean J. Goodwin and an uncle, Samuel C. Goodwin.
Ben was a graduate from North Iredell High School and Mitchell Community College. He served in the United States Army and was currently employed with Lowes Distribution Center.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister Sarah Rebecca Drolet (Bill Arevalo Harrington) and grandfather, Spencer G. Goodwin, Jr.
