STATESVILLE- Annie M. Link, 91, went home to be with her Lord on October 8, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 28, 1925 in Wilkes County, North Carolina, she was the daughter to the late Freddie and Laura Estep Marlowe. Annie was a loving and caring mother, "Mawmaw" and sister. She was one of the oldest founding members of Bright Light Baptist Church. Until her health declined she was at church anytime the doors were open.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Vance Link; children, Gary Wayne Link and Jr. Dunlap; five brothers and four sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Daisy (Carter) Williams; son's Johnny (Debbie) Link and Glenn (Robin) Link; grandchildren, Kristina Myers and Matthew Link; great-granddaughter, Kelsey Myers all of Statesville; sisters, Ruby Anderson of Wilkesboro and Marian (Jimmy) Parlier of Stony Point and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from11 am -12pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Bright Light Baptist Church in Statesville. The service will follow at 12 pm with Pastors Keith Bowman and Jayson Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
