She was born on January 29, 2004 in Iredell County and was the daughter of Christopher William Burgess and Kimberly Denise Greer Burgess.
Anna was in the 7th Grade at North Iredell Middle School, where she was a member of the Chorus and Band. She called herself a “Gamer”, enjoying games and loved animals, especially her dog, Oscar.
She was preceded by one grandmother, Elizabeth Greer.
Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents, Christopher and Kimberly, are her grandparents, Vickie Burgess, Billy (Debbie) Burgess and Teresa (Jim) Saunders; aunts and uncles, Amy Burgess, Melinda (Anthony) Presnell, Melanie Byrd, LaBeth (James) Smith, Brian (Sarah) Burgess, Roger Lee (Brittany) Clark, Dustin (Leah) Clark, Teresa (Eddie) Leighton, Terry (Michelle) Henderson, Angel Patterson and Yupi Patsakham; numerous cousins and loved ones.
Anna’s family will speak to friends and family from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM, Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:30 PM in the Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Gervase Hitch and Rev. Marsha Joyner. Anna will be laid to rest at Snow Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the 7th Grade Trip Scholarship Fund c/o North Iredell Middle School 2467 Jennings Road Olin, NC 28660.
Anna was a bright, caring young lady and full of life. Those attending the services are asked to wear bright colors to help celebrate her life.
