Mr. Stoe was born and raised in Atlanta and lived most of his life in Metter, where he owned and operated Buffalo Nickle, Jewelry and Pawn. He was a member of Metter Primitive Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. He was an avid Bingo player and caller and was the Bingo caller at the Moose Lodge in Vidalia for many years.
Mr. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Edward and Pearl Mae Hendrix Stoe and a step-daughter.
Mr. Stoe is survived by his wife, Ruby Jane Stoe of Jacksonville, FL; son, Thomas Edward Stoe, Jr. of Ocala, FL; daughters, Monica Skaarup of Statesboro and Peggy Sue; sister, Peggy Stoe Jones of Griffin; step-children; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Landmark Holiness Church, 711 Parker Avenue, Brooklet, Georgia 30415, with Reverend Jeff Butler officiating.
The burial will be held privately in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of customary remembrance, contributions may be directed to Affinis Hospice, 130 Canal Street, Pooler, Georgia 31322.
