Born January 8th, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York to Peter and Frances Mormile, the youngest of three daughters. Theresa attended Canarsie High School. She met and fell in love with her husband Jeffrey and the two married on December 17th, 1972. Shortly thereafter the couple moved to Staten Island, NY.
Theresa worked as a secretary at Design Tex Fabrics in Manhattan before starting her family. Later in life, she worked in Deal, NJ at a jeweler ‘Heavenly Treasures’, a job she truly loved.
Theresa was a free spirit, who loved eating out, music, soap operas, reading on her iPad, and playing games on her computer. While Theresa loved many things, her greatest source or love and pride were her grandchildren, being a grandmother to her four amazing grandchildren was her proudest achievement.
Besides her parents, Theresa is predeceased by both her much loved and missed sister Connie and brother-in law Alex Lanzetta. She is survived by her loving husband Jeffrey Shurack and by her daughters Karey Zingaropoli, and Paige Starita, her adored sons- in-law Cosmo Zingaropoli and Matthew Starita as well as her beloved grandchildren; Antonio Zingaropoli, Gabriella Zingaropoli, Ryan Starita and Camryn Starita. Theresa also leaves behind her sister, Fanny Rommeney and her husband, Ronald Rommeney. In addition, Theresa leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members.
