Teresa M. Huminski

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, lifelong Islander June 6, 1958 - Jan 14, 2023 Beloved wife, loving mother, devoted grandmother Teresa "Terry" Huminski (ne Pettinato), 64, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family after a tenacious battle with cancer. Teresa was born on Staten Island and grew up in Rosebank and Westerleigh. She married the love of her life Raymond J. Huminski, at St. Adalbert's Church on Sept 2, 1978. With Ray she lived on Staten Island in Bullshead, where they raised their four children. Teresa was beloved wife of 27 years to Raymond J. and loving mother to Raymond C. (Maria L.), Jesse (Kat F.), Nicholas (Angelica P.), and Kimberly. She was the devoted grandmother "Mamie" to Adele, Harley, and Henry. Teresa is survived by her sisters Karen and Ellen and her brother Eddie and predeceased by brothers Thomas and Michael and husband, Raymond. After completing her career as a dental assistant with SIUH, Teresa's singular priority was always her devotion to her family, especially her grand-babies. She loved purely, fiercely, and unconditionally. All who knew her admired her formidable strength and effortless kindness. Viewing services will be at Harmon's Funeral Home, Thursday Jan. 19th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass to follow on Friday, 12pm at Holy Family Church, Watchogue Rd. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Fund would be appreciated.
