Rosemarie Faccani (nee Zarli) was born September 6, 1922 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn to Angelo Zarli owner of a dress manufacturing company and Antoinette Zarli (Napoli), assistant to her husband and a homemaker. Rosemarie was a graduate of Pratt Institute here she studied business. Upon graduation from Pratt, she began working as a Floor Manager and Human Resource Manager at her father's dress factory. Rosemarie married Frank Cavallo in 1945 and the couple moved to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and together they owned and operated a neighborhood General Store.
Upon Mr. Cavallo's passing, Rosemarie began a career at Citibank and worked as an Executive Vice
President o the Facilities Management Division until her retirement. Rosemarie married Anthony Faccani,(deceased 1999) a Pioneer School Bus driver and they relocated with extended family to Staten Island in 1982.
Rosemarie enjoyed traveling and took many trips with family and friends, her most memorable being a trip to Morocco and Italy. She was a member and pt president of the S.l. Chapter Columbiettes and The Grand other's Club. Rosemarie attended weekly bingo games and activities at her St. Teresa Church. Much of her time was spent with her sisters Gloria Marino and Violet Cinelli and their families until her sisters' passings. She also liked spending time with her nieces and nephews, attending family gatherings, spending holidays and special occasions together. She spent hours passing on stories of the family history to her niece and nephews.
