Kathleen A. Fisher, native Staten Islander, loving daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully on October 3, 2022, just 9 days after her 67th birthday, due to a brain injury. Kathy was so grateful to the staff at Eger Harbor House Assisted Living where she lived for just under two years. From housekeeping, all the way up to Administration they went out of their way to make sure Kathy was able to stay at H. H. in spite of her many falls. She made friends easily at H. H. and was quick to join in on activities; especially Jackpot Bingo. In her own way, she gave of herself to others. In her younger days, Kathy worked or volunteered as a Candy Striper and a Transporter at a nursing home. She worked at a Homeless Shelter and Seaview Nursing Home as a housekeeper. Kathy loved being with family, especially her nieces & nephews as well as her grandnieces & nephews. She loved her dog, Dan as one of the family. She enjoyed cruising with her friend Alicia and more recently with her sister, Patty. Kathy was always proud of the fact that she received an award at her High School Graduation. While academics were always a struggle, Kathy walked across the stage at Tottenville High School graduation for 4 years of perfect attendance.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Bernice Fisher, brothers, James(Eileen) Fisher and Thomas(Robin) Fisher, sister Patricia (Joe) Rozing, 7 nieces & nephews, 14 grandnieces & nephews, numerous cousins, and friends.
