Dane Liesch, a retired school custodial assistant, and resident of Forestburgh, NY, died at the age of 68 on September 1, 2023 in Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY, after a short battle with cancer.
Dane was born on March 29, 1955 to Charles and Nancy (Coco) Liesch on Staten Island, NY
Dane is survived by his wife of 21 years, Karin (DeWaters) Liesch: his children, Stephanie DeVito and her husband, Dane, Nicole Liesch and Jo-Ellen Liesch. Also survived by his grandchildren, Javani and Alessia Liesch and Jace Devito.
He enjoyed trips to their summer home in Rock Hill, NY. He also enjoyed cruising and visiting other countries. He was also a problem-solver who often took on difficulted projects around the house. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
