Aurora P. Liebisch, age 97, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. She was born on January 28, 1927. Aurora was a native Staten Islander, a graduate of McKee High School, and attended College of Staten Island. Aurora worked for many years in the medical field.
She was a lifelong resident of Grymes Hill, the widow of the late Edwin L. Liebisch, and in later life companion to the late Robert Schukin. Devoted sister of deceased siblings Anthony Perrino, Jesse Cocozza, and Theresa Succo.
Aurora was the devoted mother of Gary Liebisch of Powell, OH, and Gail Francis of Eltingville.
Loving grandmother of Amy, Jennifer, Jill, and Jay. Great grandmother to Logan, Brayden, Charlie, Silas, Brandon, and Ella Renee.
Daughter of deceased Carmine and Theresa Perrino.
Her favorite things were cooking Italian, baking, fashion, and spending time with family.
