who was devoted to her family, died Sunday in Richmond University Medical Center, West Brighton.
She was born Adriana Racco in Brooklyn and graduated from New Utrecht High School in her native borough.
Mrs. Romano moved to Willowbrook in 1969.
Primarily a homemaker, she also worked for 10 years as a clerk for Allstate Insurance at several offices on Staten Island. She retired in 1997.
Mrs. Romano enjoyed traveling with her husband on road trips and cruises.
She was a parishioner of St. Rita’s R.C. Church, Meiers Corners.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Roger; her sons, Christopher and Gregg; her daughter, Laura Keller, and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rita’s Church. Burial will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood.
