Martha Cole

Martha worked at Stanley Knitware, Beltex and the Gaston Gazette. Martha was a very loving, strong and nurturing mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in passing by her husband of 64 years, Gordon Cole and daughter, Ann Isaacs.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Cole and significant other, Bob Abbott and Karen Smith and husband Steve; grandchildren, Angela Mullinax, Kristen Isaacs, Jordan Smith and Jesse Smith; great grandchildren, Aliana Mullinax, Braylon Royalty and Ezekiel Smith; siblings, Paul Freeman, Jerry Freeman, Betty Chandler, Bonnie Burleson and Nancy McMahan.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the Brevard Room at Carothers Funeral Home Stanley on Sunday, November 21, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 22, 2021 followed by a committal service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
