Marcia Morgan Miller

Marcia (Morgan) Miller, 80, of Stanley North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2024. Marcia was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. She was very kind, overly generous and honest to a fault. Marcia was a phenomenal mother to her two surviving children. She leaves behind many family, friends and precious memories. She enjoyed her garden and honing her negotiation skills at yard sales. Professionally, she was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, specializing in Cardiac and Intensive Care. She worked at Carolinas Medical Center Mercy Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital in The Charlotte area. Marcia was very proud of her humble beginnings and worked hard to make a good life for herself and her children. Many will desperately miss her and the difference she made in their lives.

Marcia is the daughter of the late Margaret (Heath) Morgan and Jack Benjamin Morgan. Her son, Tommy Kline Frasure, Jr., passed on before her. Marcia was one of 11 children. Her sisters, Judy Gayle (Morgan) Scronce, Rachel Devine, Carol Morgan and Jackie O’ Donohough and brother, David Morgan all proceed her in passing.

Left to treasure the memories of their mother are her son, Curtis Frasure, her daughter, Monica Frasure with her life partner Michelle Miller. She leaves behind one granddaughter, Bee Miller. Left with many joyous memories of days long past are her siblings, Lilly Ewing, Wanda Small, Deanie Starling, Debbie McGill and their brother, Gary Morgan.

A Memorial Service celebrating Marcia’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday June 1, 2024 at Carothers Funeral Home, Stanley Chapel, 412 South Main Street, Stanley. Marcia will be inurned next to her son, Tommy, at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly immediately following the memorial service.
