Mrs. Ellen (Friday) Ballard, born December 14, 1916, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2021. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Stanley, NC and has been a true example of God’s love to her family and community.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Forest Huston Ballard Sr. and sons: Huston, Ronald, and Jerry Ballard.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ballard Pittillo, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is planned at Hillcrest Gardens, Mount Holly. Rev. Noel Sweezy will officiate.
