Seiho was born in Tokyo, Japan on January 25, 1938. He attended Tokyo University and graduated with degrees in economics upon which he worked at NKK Corporation in Japan as an industrial engineer. In 1964, he married the former Sayoko Oowaki, who passed away in 2006. They first moved to the U.S. in 1979 and resided for over 5 years. On their second return to the U.S. they moved to CT in 1987 when Seiho worked for NKK America, Inc. and NK Lease Corporation as Manager of International Finance and Executive Director. After retirement, Seiho became a licensed real estate agent in the States of NY and CT and a member of Stamford Board of Realtors. Seiho and his wife enjoyed playing bridge throughout their life together. They earned Life Master in 2004, and Seiho earned Bronze Life Master in 2008. He was also an avid fisher and enjoyed fishing excursions in various parts of the country. Seiho is survived by his daughters Ari and Misa Shimada and Ari's husband Atsushi Yokota.
