Katherine Chee How Lee

(September 17, 1925 – April 8, 2014)

Katherine Lee, affectionately known as "Po Po” or”Ngin Ngin", died peacefully Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the age of 88. A Dolphin Cove, Stamford resident for 35 years, she was the widow of Yum Kee Lee. Born September 17, 1925, in Greenwich Village, NY, she was an active member of the Chinese Alliance Church of Westchester, NY. An excellent cook and gracious hostess, she adored traveling all over the world but always loved to return home to her garden by the sea.

Katherine is survived by her four children: son, Robert Lee; daughters: Dayna Lee Berner, Jeanne Macdonald, Sandy Spaeth; three wonderful son-in-laws: Ted Berner, Ronald Macdonald, David Spaeth; six beloved grandchildren: Jennifer and Christopher Lee, Matthew and Stephen Spaeth, Keith and Ruth Macdonald and two adorable great-grandchildren, Barrett and Lila Jackson; her caring sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Richard Ng; niece, Connie Ng and nephew, Douglas Ng; niece Lana, and her husband, John Wong.
