John F. Gault (Jack) passed peacefully on Thursday, March 15, at the age of 82.
Mr. Gault was a pioneer in the Cable Television Industry, whose career spanned nearly 60 years. He is best remembered for his leadership as President of Manhattan Cable in the 1980’s a period where he was instrumental in the transformation of the Cable TV industry.
He was active in cable industry affairs as Chairman of the NY State Cable Television Association, was an Adjunct Professor at New York University, served as Chairman of CTAM Education Foundation and was active in local charities and coaching.
“Papa” Jack is survived by his wife, Jeanette, three children and seven grandchildren.
