Born in Lares, PR, she was the daughter of Raimundo Quiles and Maria Vargas. Ana will be remembered for being a loyal wife, amazing mother and loving grandmother who took pleasure in spending time with family.
She is survived by her children, Mildred A. Aponte, Emma I. Marrero, Grisell A. Serrano, Ruben A. Aponte, Jesus M. Aponte, Gisela A. Dougherty, Carlos A. Aponte, Richard A. Aponte, Edgardo Aponte, 26 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, A sister Juanita Maestre and 3 brothers Osvaldo, Leonides and Ramon Quiles. She was predeceased by her husband Ruben D. Aponte, daughter Ana R. Aponte, great grandson Gabriel C. Martinez, step mother Angelina Bernal, sisters Maria Hernandez, Maria Carde, Evangelisda Coughlin, Milagros Aquino and brothers Anastacio, Miguel and Juan Quiles.
