Romana Lazatin Dizon

Our beloved Romana L. Dizon was born February 28, 1918, in Sta. Ana, Pampanga, Philippines. She had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She fell in love and married Ambrosio M. Dizon on May 4, 1938. Their marriage was blessed with 6 children, Bellaflor, Augusto, Herminio, Luisita, Remigio, and Anabelle.

In 1976, The family moved from the Philippines to Houston, Texas.

Romana and Ambrosio raised their family in the Catholic faith. She enjoyed, sewing, gardening and taking care of her "sari-sari store. But more than anything else, she loved spending time with her loved ones. God called Romana home on the evening of Saturday, December 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Ambrosio, her daughter Bellaflor, and her grandson Jason. Her beautiful legacy will live on in her children Voy and his wife Tita, Miniong and his wife Wenie, Sita and her husband Totoy, Remy and his wife Zeny, and Anabelle and her husband Rudy, her grandchildren Eddieboy, Mark, Jojo, Alain, Gerry, Maritess, Edward, Jonathan, Jerome, Jojit, Suzanne, Edmund, Allan, Alastair, Jomar, and Maria(M'm) and many loving great grandkids.

The Family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas 77072. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
