Jacob Marcel Richard

Jacob was born on April 30, 1997 in Lafayette, LA to Rene and Stephanie Richard. He grew up in Sugar Land, TX with his brothers Andrew and Philip. He attended St. Laurence Catholic School and was a faithful member of the St. Laurence Parish.

Jacob spent much of his last three years living in Thibodaux, LA where he enjoyed spending time with his extended family. Family, music, and food were his true passions. He enjoyed cooking, trying new foods, and experiencing different restaurants. Jacob loved singing, listening to music, and going to concerts.

Jacob is survived by his brothers Andrew and Philip and his sister-in-law Audrey; his grandparents Denis and Lucy Rodrique; and his many loving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marvin and Mary Alice Richard.

A vigil service will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 3 at Earthman Southwest Funeral Directors, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, TX. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, April 4 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd, Sugar Land, TX. Final internment will be on Wednesday, April 5th at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Jacob to St. Laurence Catholic School in Sugar Land, TX or the Houston Office of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
