We were so saddened to learn that we lost our dear Amy.  She, her parents, Will, and the Whitton family were our Texas family through the years, and we will miss her very much.  She was a kind, giving person who gave to others in many ways.  We miss her being with us but look forward to being with her in heaven, along with those waiting for all of us there.  Blessings and love to Scott and Doris, Will, and the Whittons.  We were unable to attend Amy's memorial service as we were visiting our daughter Amy at that time.  You all are in our prayers. Amy and I began our sisterhood in 2007 in the Dept of Medicine at Houston Methodist. We tag teamed operations to keep things balanced. From being my UH and TWU alumnus to migraines twin, Amy’s  the soft spoken, accommodating, go-getter you never imagine not knowing once known. We will still celebrate Scorpio season and race to send you Happy Birthday wishes first. You were definitely my Angel on so many occasions, I will only hold in the sky. You and Ben knock some stuff over here and there to let us know you are in the room. Take me on adventures in my dreams, and send us all little tokens we can relay to your parents and Will to let them know that you created a huge extended family to love on them. 

My condolences to Amy's family.  Amy was one of the kindest people I ever knew and a wonderful person.  We lost a real winner on this earth and I know she left this world better in her being here, albeit, a short time.  The ultimate professional and kind heart is sometimes hard to find...but Amy was that.     

Oh how my heart hurt when I heard this tragic news. Now I sit and rely on the memories I was fortunate to have with Amy. She never met a stranger, always greeted everyone with a smile and was always willing to bend an ear. 
Till we meet again , may you fly high as the angel you are Amy. 

I had the pleasure of working with Amy and getting to know her when we worked together in the  Administration Department of Nursing Education.  Not only was she a wonderful co-worker, she became a dear friend.
She was pure Joy. She loved to laugh!  Simply put, to know Amy was to love her.  Her greatest legacy is her son Will. Her love for him was unparalleled. She would light up when sharing stories of him. He made her life complete.

I know we will see each other again someday Amy, I find great comfort in knowing you are re-united with Ben, for I know how much you missed him all these years! 

I am sending prayers to all the Family during this difficult time. May God give you strength, peace,  and comfort in the days ahead.
 
Heaven gained an Angel!... I will miss you  dearly, Amy.

Amy- you will be missed by so many.  My heart aches for all of your family and friends. I enjoyed working with you and  will never forget the lesson you gave me on Sugar Busters!  Rest in peace, my friend!

I worked with Amy at C-TREC for many years and was the happy recipient of her bubbling personality for many years. I remember her becoming a mother to Will and the joy she had being his mom. You will be missed.

To know Amy was to love Amy!  She was the most amazing friend, mother, colleague, partner and child. Amy and I did life together for 17 years. Throughout that time, I saw that her priority was always her family, especially Will. She loved them so very much!!! Amy had a heart and a spirit that were larger than life. She loved life to the fullest and encouraged others to do the same. We made some amazing memories together!  Amy missed her brother, Ben, so much. There is no doubt in my mind that they are dancing together in Heaven rIght now. 

Amy is not physically with us anymore, but her spirit lives on in all the hearts of the people she touched. I will miss her so much, but I can’t wait to see her again at the gates of Heaven.
