Passed away on 3/20/17 at his home. He is preceded in death by wife, Dorothy; son, James III; parents, James, Sr. and Dorothy and sisters, Dorothy “Dolly”, Audrey, Harriet, Agnes “Toots” and Joyce. Jim is survived by children, Angie (Mark) Hurd, Cici (Dave) Hughes, John, Mary (Pat) Bogie, Agnes (Geoff) O’Connor, Allen (Julie); grandchildren, Jolene (Dean) Kiffmeyer, Joe (Elizabeth) Hurd, Tyler (Kate) Hurd, David (Treasure) Hughes, Melissa Hughes, Brian Hughes, Shae (Frank) Hammond, Mary Payne, Sean Bogie, Paul Bogie, Calvin O’Connor, Shelby O’Connor, Olivia O’Connor, Kyle O’Connor, Taylor Payne, Connor Payne; great-grandchildren, Claire, Max, Jack, Emma, Dru, Parker, Cory, Ayana, James; sisters, Mary Billadeau, Beverly Rowan, Gloria Meyer and was also preceded in death by loving companion, Darlene “Dolly” Robideau. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Fri. 3/24/17 at St. Johns Church of Little Canada, 380 Little Canada Rd., Little Canada. Visitation 9AM until time of mass. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Croix Hospice.
