Age 66 of Maplewood, formerly of Saginaw, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 3, 2012. Preceded in death by son James R. Long; father James R. Long; mother Grace E. Locke. Survived by loving wife, Carole Lynne; daughter, Jennifer Long; step-daughters, Christine Wawrzaszek (Steff), Cathleen Olson (Eric), Colleen Casey (Kurt Keogh); 5 loving grandchildren; brother, Michael Long (Mary); 2 nephews. Some of Jim’s favorite things were: his family, model railroading, gardening, building things, traveling, building planes. He was an avid historical reader and loved everything Texas. Funeral service 11:30AM Monday, 8/6 (Jim’s Birthday), at Wulff Funeral home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St Paul. Visitation 5-7PM TODAY at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service Monday. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Gift of Life Transplant House, in Rochester, MN.
