He is preceded in death by his dearly beloved wife, Jeanette; parents, Anton and Rosalia; and sisters, Marion and Rosemary.
Edward is survived by his children, Steven (Linda Ranczka) and Linda Lorbach; grandsons, Eric (Johanna) and Lucas (Andrea) Lorbach; granddaughter, Cassandra (Eric) Lorbach Dorschner; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Colin, and Zachary Lorbach, Madeline Yeasel, Malaki, Gabrielle, and Ezekiel Dorshner.
Edward was born December 6, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois. He lived in Oak Lawn, IL, in a house he built with his own hands, for fifty years before moving to Minnesota (almost eight years ago). This hand made home was his biggest accomplishment, as he was always working hard for his family.
He loved German food, and having conversations in German with his kids and grandkids. His stories and sense of humor will always be remembered.
Edward was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent together. His dedication to his wife and children was always his focus in life, and he worked tirelessly to provide for every need. He will be deeply missed, and fondly remembered for his unconditional love for all who knew him.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Lorbach family.
