He was preceded in death by parents Sanford and Patricia Squires; and brother Patrick Squires.
He was proud to be a USMC veteran, "Once a Marine, Always a Marine," and his career as an Engineering Specialist at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Daniel is survived by his sisters Kathleen Robbins, Susan (Mike) Andrews, Lisa (Brian) Menth, Kelly (Lori) Pederson, and Christine Smith; brother Paul Squires; many nephews and nieces Kory, Jewel, Austin, Sadie, Michael, Tatiana, Miranda, Joslyn, and Summer; great nephew Micah; and numerous extended family and friends.
A funeral service for Daniel will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave N, St. Paul, Minnesota 55106, with a visitation one hour prior. Following the funeral service will be a celebration of Danny's life at Sherwood Lounge, 1418 White Bear Ave N, St Paul, Minnesota 55106.
A private burial service will be held in Two Harbors at a later date to lay Daniel to rest with his parents and brother.
