Christine Ann Kowalski, of Inver Grove Heights, Age 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 16, 2022. Preceded in death by parents Mathew and Kathryn Garofalo, son Timothy “T.J.” Kowalski, sisters Mary Johnson and Paula Baldwin, and nephew Lt. Col. Mark Weber. She is survived by her loving husband Timothy; daughters Kelly (Derek) Wennerberg, Allison (James) Rieger; daughter-in-law Kimberly; grandchildren Jacob, Madeline, Hannah, Samuel, Lucy and Mackenna; siblings Pat (Deb), Jean (Mike) Gibbons, Illean (Dennis) Weber, Maureen (Erick) Erickson, Kathleen (Robert) Pedersen, James, Paul (Vikki), Anthony, Marco (Kathi), Joseph (Janice), John, and Peter, and many nieces and nephews.
Christine married Timmer, whom she loved fiercely, on April 23, 1971 and spent 51 years together, raising three amazing children. Her world revolved around ensuring her children and grandchildren wanted for nothing. She loved her family and her 6 grandchildren more than anything. Christine lived her life with her heart on her sleeve; she loved harder and more passionately than any one else. She had an open-door policy and many people called her home, their home. She was considered a second mom to many family members and friends. Our comfort comes from knowing she is living peacefully in God’s grace in his presence.
She graduated from Saint Joseph’s Academy, class of 1969. She ran Final Touch Interiors, with her two sisters for over 40 years in the southeast Metro area. When not running the business, she spent her time volunteering at New Life Church and New Life Academy. She taught Sunday school classes, AWANA, and helped run the NLA Booster Club.
