Ashton was a kind hearted man who enjoyed the simple life of country living. He loved the outdoors. Ashton owned 9 acres of land out in the country and loved spending time with his friends and family riding 4 wheelers and being outside. He was an avid fisherman and was happiest with a line in the water. Ashton will be remembered by all those he knew and loved as a caring husband, father, brother, grandchild, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Amber Buteau Ryan; son, Ashton James Ryan, Jr.; daughter, Kelsey Anne Ryan; parents, Scott Ryan and Yvette Norwood Ryan; brothers, Tyler Broussard and Blaze Pless and companion Starlee Cooper; maternal grandparents, George and Sandra Norwood; paternal grandmother, Carrol Bodin; step-grandfather, Merlin Bodin; father and mother-in-law, Raymond Buteau and Renee Derouen; special aunt Tonya Norwood Desormeaux and husband Jason; uncles, George Norwood, Jr. and wife Michelle, Michael Norwood, Sr. and wife Stephanie, William “Bill” Ryan and wife Cathy, and James “Bump” Ryan and wife Tara; and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Pat Ryan; step-grandfather, Johnny Lennie; aunt, Sue Lennie.
