Ronald Stanford Prince

Prince, Ronald Stanford, died on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Saint Louis, MO. He was born on October 6, 1931 in Asheville, North Carolina to adoring parents Frances Novick and Samuel Morton Prince; Dear husband to Vida "Sister" Goldman Prince for sixty-one years. Loving father to their three children: Patricia Frances Prince Slosburg (Daniel), the late Ronald Stanford Prince, Jr., and Susan Prince Barron (Steven). Dear grandfather to Tucker Joseph Slosburg (Krista Nelson), Grace Leah Slosburg (Scott Steffens), Samuel Prince Slosburg, Zachary Elliot Barron, Maxwell Prince Barron, Ronald Stanford Prince III, Blaire Jacqueline Prince and Tess Jacqueline Prince.

Mr. Prince graduated from Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia in 1949. He then attended the University of North Carolina, graduating in 1953. He served his country as a lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Mr. Prince began his successful business career in 1955 at what is now Central States Diversified, Inc. He remained at CSD working in many capacities until he retired in 1996 as President and Chief Operating Officer of the firm.

Funeral service Wednesday, February 3, 2016, 11:30 am at Congregation Temple Israel-May Chapel, Ladue and Spoede Road. No visitation prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
