Robert Schmidt Jr.

Robert "Bob" Schmidt Jr. 69 passed away on December 7, 2017. He was born in St. Louis, MO to Robert Schmidt and Celestia Margaret Baumgartner. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and traveling. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1964 to 1965. During this time he was in Vietnam. He was the National Director of the PVA for many years.

Bob was loved by all who he came in contact with and will be missed by many. He leaves behind a wife (separated) Sandra Schmidt. They shared 21 years and 6 children, Robert, Richard (deceased), Christopher, Angela, Keith, and Kevin and thirteen grandchildren, Landon, Megan, Christopher, Robert, Keith, Jackson, Brock, Izzy, Sophie, Matilda, Rylee, Mia, and Kane and 1 great grandson Brayden.

Bob also leaves behind 6 siblings Walter "Wally", Otto, Darlene, Linda, Kerry, and Gary "Chubby" and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home Monday, December 11, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Hoffmeister South County Chapel Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with burial following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
