Robert Edward Lippert

LIPPERT, Robert E., 74 of Saint Louis fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully in Oakland CA on April 25, 2015. Bob was the loving husband for 22 years to the late Faith Lippert (nee Bickel), beloved son of the late Erwin and Margaret (nee Mc Grew) Lippert, devoted father to Rebecca Lippert and the late Victor Moore. Beloved brother of Linda Carnaghi; dear brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great uncle, friend, and animal lover.

Bob was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army as a paratrooper and combat engineer. He retired from Anheuser Busch after over 35 years as a member of the Bottlers Union, working in shipping and receiving. Bob was an avid and exceptional bowler and Worlds greatest softball coach. After, Faith passed away he moved to Oakland to be close to his daughter Rebecca.

SERVICES: A memorial visitation will be offered from 10-11 am on Saturday May 23, 2015, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Lemay, MO 63125. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. In memory of Bob, contributions are encouraged to the Stray Rescue of Saint Louis, 2320 Pine St, St. Louis, MO 63103.
