the cruise ship called the Ariadne. While working on the ship, he met his lovely wife, Irene. It was love at first sight. They were married on February 25, 1967 and then moved to Texas.
There he worked in the construction industry with his brother, John. Michael and Irene then moved to St. Louis, MO and raised their son, Dean.

He also fabricated some camera mounting parts for the Space Shuttle program.
His molds were used to create different products, including parts for the game YOLF, baseball bat practice weights and plastic containers, to name a few. Omega Tool Company won the Small Business
Subcontractor of the Year Award on May 11, 1989. “The award recognizes integrity, reliability, initiative & capability in meeting important Government requirements in complying with exacting standards of Government subcontracting.”
