I wanted to tell her how great Marvin was.  He had business in DC.

He took me!

I was young.  I got to work with staff at CECH.   We were all young, working in different classrooms.  Working on a book for the classroom.

Marvin bought a ticket to DC for me!

What a surprise.  We eventually took a cab around the city.  We saw the Surpreme Court.  We went inside the Smithsonian.

Wow!  Double wow!

He did not have to do that.

I have considered that over and over! How he helped me get there.    How we were broke. (Joel  my better half was in graduate school.)  

He gave me a chance.

  I got work from the ACLU. Over and over. I got work with Terry Fisher and other volunteers.

He did not have to.

-  I will be forever grateful. - 

I want to take Joel to Washington!!!

I want to take our son.  His  newish wife and their son!

We are in a crisis with this Trump  felon and our vote.

I will get the old folks out to vote!  DELCREST!  YEAH!

For Marvin,!

For the kids.


We will not forget him!

Thank your Mom , Muriel.  This cannot have been easy for her!

It is  not easy for us either.  I am indebted to Marvin.



He had the cab drive me by the Supreme Court!  That is a VERY big deal.

We have known Marvin since 1965 when we lived in St. Louis.  He has always been a beautiful person representing the best of Jewish inspirational living.  We left St. Louis in  1968, and lost contact.
   We were able to reconnect a few years ago by Email and Facebook.
He told us about his wonderful family, and we were so happy for all of you.
     He  never missed celebrating Emails with us on Jewish Holidays.
The world has lost a treasure, and a person making this world a better place for everyone.  His goodness will live on forever.
     We extend our deepest sympathy to his family, and to all who knew him.

When I married Pam, I inherited Marvin Beckerman. 
Lucky me.
As we all journey through life, we look to be around kind people.
Nice people. Interesting people. Funny people. Generous people. Tolerant people. Informed people. Genuinely spiritual people. 
And imagine what? I found all those qualities in one, magnificent human being - my new cousin Marvin.
May G-d bless him forever And may the world produce more people like Marvin Marshall Beckerman.
