Lillian Marie Hutnyk

Lillian Marie Hutnyk, age 78, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She was born January 17, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Louis and Norma Menendez (nee Hertz). Lillian is the beloved wife of Peter T. Hutnyk; loving mother of Pete (Linda) Hutnyk, Tracy (Mike) Brumfield and the late Denise (Steve ) Neels; Loving grandmother of Steve Neels Jr., Amanda Neels, Sam Hutnyk, Anna Hutnyk, Danny Hutnyk, Allison Brumfield, and Amelia Brumfield; Dear Sister of Margaret (Donald) Phipps, Robert (Betty) Menendez, Rose (Albert) Ledbetter, Judy (Lee) Hendricks, Beverly (Sam) Hall, Louis Menendez, Ricky Menendez, Terry Menendez, Josephine (Michael) Zema, Dear sister-in-law of Teke Menendez and Linda Menendez; our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and four of her siblings, Norma (Terry) Dalton, John Menendez, Arthur Menendez and Jimmy Menendez.

Lillian enjoyed gardening, and taking walks around the neighborhood but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Lillian will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
