We was so sorry to hear earlier this week of Larry's sudden passing. It has been over 40 years since we last saw you and Larry at Central Missouri but you both made the impression. Of a lifetime with your loving attitudes and true carrying for others. Larry was a class act and a true person of great character, some thing that is very lacking in today's world. We will miss is wonderful smile and infectious laugh. God bless all of you and it is comforting to know that Larry is in the place he has sought so faithfully to be his entire life. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I knew you and Larry at Carondelet. Larry was a very kind and man and I remember his laugh and smile.

Dear Carole,Corrie,Kara and Jason i cannot begin to say how sorry and shocked i am at the passing of Bro. Larry. Bro Larry was like a second fatther to me and i am so very blessed that God put him in my life. You guys are family and i am very sorry that my family and I could not be there for you as you guys have been there so many times before. We were talking at lunch 2 Sundays ago. Garry Hasty told the old why do firemen wear red suspenders joke. Larry got so tickled. Just little friend stuff like that are the memories i hold dear. Shooting pool last year in Branson. More than just a Pastor and boss.  I was happy to just be one of the guys.

Bro. Larry was a guiding light to me and my mother and brother.  He was always willing to talk and help whenever you needed him and he had the best smile!  I could not have handled some crises in my life as well if I hadn't had him to lean on. Hopefully all these beautiful thoughts and prayers people are leaving will bring the family comfort in knowing how much hope and comfort he brought to so many others.

Larry has been a friend for nearly 50 years. We both attended Carondelet Baptist Church and I knew him and Carole well. He was always cheerful and smiling, We both also worked in Mehlville, although being at two different levels, we didn't see each other professionally very often. He was well respected by his colleagues and loved by his students. In 1999, he officiated our wedding. He enriched our lives and will be sorely missed, Our deepest sympathies are extended to Carole and his family.

The world just isn't as nice a place without your smile and that twinkle in your eye. You were always there for my family and anyone in need of anything. It is a privilege and an honor to have known you as pastor and friend. My heart goes out to your wonderful family.

Brother Larry had the kindest most gentle way about him. Filled with the love of our Lord and shared that love just by being himself!!!! There are far too few people in this world who can make such a difference and doing it strictly out of love for people and wanting them to know God. He is one of the most wonderful men I've ever known!!! He is going to be dearly missed. Can't wait until we all are called home together, what a joyous time that will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carole, Jason, Marin,Corrie, Kara and Matt, If I can do anything to help in any way at all, please let me know. I'm so very sorry you are going through such a hard thing. It is never easy to have our loved ones pass even when we know our loved ones are home in Heaven, where we all belong. What a blessing knowing he is in Heaven now though!!!!! Think of the reunion he must be having!!!!

Went to high school with Larry.  Always such a nice guy.  I know his passing will be felt by all who knew him.  Praise God for the hope of heaven.  What a glorious day for Larry to be face to face with our Savior for all eternity.
