Dear Judy and Family,
After a year, we still mourn with you the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather.  He was a great friend to all of us.
We have the joy of sharing our memories with you Judy, practically on a daily basis.  I hope our times together talking about Ken brings you some comfort as we laugh, cry and bring up more memories each time.
Our love to all of you now and always.


ken had a gentle spirit. He was kind, considerate, and loved his great sense of humor, quick whittedness.  It was a honor knowing him.  I will miss him for sure.  Prayers to his wife Judy and family for comfort. He will surely be missed...

 Ken was a great brother.  When we were growing up he viewed it as a personal responsibility to protect us from wilder kids and built  a reputation as our body guard.   Once when  I was surrounded by some  wild kids I shouted his name like he was nearby and the kids took off without waiting around to see if he was actually there.

When finding a suitable job was proving a challenge and the techniques taught  by career advice experts weren't  working he taught me "his way" and it worked.  He was a wonderful role model who always showed me the way.  Not just  the way to  handle bullies when we were growing up,  but also the way to analyze a technical problem,   the way to install electrical and stereo equipment  and of course the way to drink German beer and  to update a plane ticket to first class.  

Our deepest sympathy to a very special family.  It's painful to have lost another dear friend of our Brookside Family.  We will cherish the decades of friendship; decades of helping each other and comforting each other; decades of talking about the pride we have for our children and grandchildren; decades of celebrations and gatherings...most recently, at the "Dead End" street with masks, distanced lawn chairs, cocktails and snacks.  

May Ken's memory live forever.  Our prayers will always be with Judy and the family as they mourn his loss.  We will always have that bond of the Brookside Family.  Our love to all of you.

Ken, I’m sure we’ll hear a lot about your various contributions to the world in your time spent here with us who loved you dearly... in thinking about what I’ll always hold dearest is that you, Judy and Susie always brighten a room with your smiles. Judy, as we all know, is a pure harbinger of light in all of our lives, but I never discounted that you obviously made her so happy. To refuel a lamp so bright and perpetuate the endless task of lifting faces to smile is no small task. Ken, your generosity, kindness and wit were always what I looked forward to most when we had our family dates in New York, and I’ll carry that with me always. The day you passed an intuitive friend coincidentally sent me a jazz song titled “I Will Remember Clifford” and I need no further proof you’ll be with us always. 

One of our earlier warm memories began with Ken & Judy coming up to visited us in the Poconos after they picked up their newly adopted dog named Zach.

Since then we've enjoyed many wonderful days with Ken & Judy during our multiple BarBQs on their deck, our patio and at our community pool.  They were always great company and it was a fun times for all of us.  We will always have wonderful memories of those times  together and his sense of humor.

Ken was always very devoted to his family - his wife, children and grandchildren.  We always admired the multiple times they spent together on vacations,  trips to Dallas, in NYC  and at their home in Marlboro.

Judy, I was so very sorry to see that Ken had passed. He was a wonderful soul, and the world is a little less witty, kind and smart in the wake of his passing. Matt and I send our love and prayers.

We are so sorry for your loss. We have great memories of being with Judy and Ken in Florida and St Louis.  Since COVID restricts our traveling to be with you please know our thoughts and hugs will be with you digitally. 
Judy, Dory,Connie,Eugene’s 75 year friendship has been like family and only wish we could be closer than Florida to console you in your loss.

We have so many memories going back to our meeting on the Little League field in Marlboro when Daniel and Barry were on the same team and Susie occupied Stacy during their brothers’ game or practice. We have shared many happy occasions-weddings, bar mitzvahs, birthdays, etc, but two memories stand out. The first was a dinner at Brioso with 3 other couples. Ken was out of town and his plane was delayed. Typical of Ken he was not upset and just said he’d meet us at the restaurant. We waited, but Ken was very late so we decided to order. Just then the door flew open, bringing a blast of cold air, and in walked Ken with a his suitcase and a big smile on his face  as he joined us as though he had been at home all day resting. Our favorite memory, however, is the Florida vacation we took together last year. We had such a relaxed and comfortable time with Judy and Ken. It will always be a cherished memory and we will miss Ken with his kooky sense of humor and kind heart.

In 1978 we moved to Brookside Circle and attended  "the block party" and that was the first time we met. Whenever I would call to speak to Judy and she was not home Ken would always make up weird places and tell me that is where she had gone. He always made me laugh and will be missed.

Dear Judy, Dan and Susie,

We are very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts in this difficult time. We remember all the good times we spent together for many years in Marlboro. We coached soccer together when Danny and Alon were young, we played tennis together, socialized and had lot's of fun. You have been very very good friends to us and we will miss Ken.

We will always remember Ken as the bright, witty and gregarious man that he was and the caring member of our Brookside family! 


We have gathered  numerous memories of Ken over the 40 plus years that we have been neighbors, and more importantly, friends. Each one brings a smile. Gatherings were never dull on so many levels.  We have blown up a friends brand new TV trying to make a cable box.  Locked people out of a restaurant on a freezing, snowy, night because it was cold when they opened the door, among the more memorable ones. The craziness will be missed.  

We fondly remember all the good times our families shared.  How can we ever forget Ken’s persistence not to cancel Judy’s 50th surprise birthday party although we were in the middle of an ice storm?  Ken would not let anything spoil Judy’s special day. 

Ken was a loving husband, father and grandpa. Family was first for Ken.  He was a caring friend with a positive attitude and  a sharp wit. There will always be a special place in our hearts for Ken.
