The world lost a joyful, intelligent, and humorous man, who made his grandchildren, children and wife the center of his universe. Ken Clifford, affectionately known as "Gramps", passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer. From Brooklyn to St. Louis to Dallas to Marlboro and many points around the world in between, he upgraded all with whom he interacted.
Ken was born in Brooklyn. He was a proud graduate of The Bronx Highschool of Science. He earned a Masters degree in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis, where he met and married the love of his life, Judy. He earned another Masters degree in Dallas, where his children were born. Between piloting small planes, tennis matches, and tutoring the Brookside Circle, NJ neighborhood in advanced mathematics, he loved selling search lights and lasers to companies worldwide. He was known for his extensive travel and quick wit. Physical distance did not keep him from being an integral part of the lives of his grandchildren. He enjoyed his dachshund and Belgian shepherd dogs, coaching soccer, watching the Cowboys, and supporting Syracuse and University of Michigan sports.
