Kuhn, Joseph C. on Wed. July 4, 2012, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Beloved husband of Beatrice Elizabeth Kuhn (nee Hagedorn) for 71 years. Dearest father of Ken (Kathy) Kuhn, Mary Kuhn, Barbara (Timothy) Wright, Katie Scully, Tom (Julie) Kuhn, Judy (Mark) McClain, Teri (Mark) Gunnison, Maggie (Dave) Tuley; devoted grandfather to 25 and great-grandfather to 12. Joe was preceded in death by his parents George and Emily (nee Strausner) Kuhn; his siblings Bill Kuhn, Louise Johnson and Marie Quinn. Joe was a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Joe was born in Hermann, MO and graduated from University of Missouri in 1940 before serving in WWII as a U.S. Naval Officer. He served in the Pacific Theatre and was awarded 9 combat ribbons and seven bronze stars before retiring as a Lt. Commander. He enjoyed a life-long career as a CPA. Our Dad touched us all with his wit, wisdom and humility. The legacy of our parents' loving marriage will live on for generations.

Services: Visitation at KRIEGSHAUSER WEST, 9450 Olive Blvd. on Sunday July 8, 4-8:00 p.m. Knights of Columbus praying rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Celebration on Monday July 9, at 10 a.m. at Incarnate Word Church, 13416 Olive Blvd. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Rhineland, MO, 1:00 p.m.
